Mushy succulent leaves usually mean one of two things: a healthy plant quietly reabsorbing an older lower leaf, or a plant that has been sitting wet long enough for cells in the leaf to start breaking down. Which one you have decides whether you should water, repot, leave the plant alone, or escalate.
